Kate Ellen Metals

Kate Ellen, based out of the East Bay, is a self-taught metalsmith who creates one-of-a-kind pieces that are spontaneous and experimental (in the best way). Kate’s jewelry runs the gamut from smoldering clusters of dainty silver pebbles to decidedly industrial pieces using nuts, bolts, nails and found objects. Her inaugural men’s line features tie clips that are etched using an eco-friendly process on brass and silver–they pair beautifully with REVL neck ties.

Kate was named “Hottest Hardware”  in 7×7 Magazine’s 2010 Best of the City edition, and has been written up in Daily Candy, Cool Material, Thrillist, and SF Indie Fashion. Her pieces have also been featured in photo shoots for various fashion magazines.
